Beach Front Property
Upon finding this old, weathered shell on Botany Bay beach on Edisto Island, SC, I wondered how many times it had been forced to relocate due to the moods of the tide. I might never have found it but for the local law that prohibits the taking of shells from the beach. Otherwise, she would have been a perfect candidate for some tourist's book shelf back home. I appreciated the circumstances that let me see this magnificent symbol of seashore beauty.
