Here's what to expect when you order an original J. Riley Stewart fine art photograph.

All images in this online gallery are offered as fine art photography wall art for sale.  New images are added routinely while others may be removed from sale at any time. If you don't find an image you expected to find here, simply email J. Riley Stewart. 

It's not always easy to know what to expect when you order art online. I want to make it easy for you, and if you have any questions after reading this page, I hope you contact me and let me clarify them.

All the following are included in a standard order from this site:

• Original and archival numbered limited edition print on cotton paper (variable wall art sizes available)
• Prints are typically unframed and unmounted. Prints are either carefully placed in a sturdy flat package (smaller sizes) or rolled and placed in a sturdy shipping tube (larger sizes).
• You may qualify for free local delivery; ask me about it. 
• I still have a few 11x14 prints mounted on archival art board and hand-varnished. If you inquire about a mounted print, it will be shipped flat.
  

Our goal is to make you 100% happy with your print selection.

We understand that ordering wall art “sight-unseen” can be scary. Colors differ from monitor to monitor, and sometimes what you receive isn’t exactly what you thought you ordered. Rest assured. We’ve sold hundreds of fine art prints and have never had a dissatisfied collector. 

Typical prints are created in numbered Limited Editions, printed with pigment inks on heavy cotton rag paper for generational stability.  I use only the highest quality materials for lasting beauty. Inks and papers are rated archival and, if cared for properly, the artwork will retain its original quality for generations.

Expect a unique presentation of J Riley Stewart fine art photographs.

I capture my images using larger format film (size 120 and 4×5) cameras, as I discuss in my Artist Statement. I scan the negatives with a high resolution scanner, and then express the resulting images artistically in software.  All images are original and copyrighted to J. Riley Stewart between 1977 to the present.  All prints sold on this site are either personally printed  by or supervised and approved by me.  Each print comes stamped with a Certificate of Authenticity. I typically print on demand, so please consider that when ordering. Inks are wet and take time to dry and set onto the heavy cotton paper I use. For this reason, please allow 7-10 days to ship your order.

What about framing?

No one keeps their wall art ‘in a shoebox.’ You’ll want to get it framed. Prints come with at least a one-inch border to give your framer plenty of flexibility when framing it. The exception to this are prints that have been hand-varnished. Hand-varnished prints are intended to be placed into an open frame, much like a painting, without matting or glazing. The description of the title will specify "hand-varnished" if this applies.
