Foot of the Fall

A close encounter at Elaka Falls, WV. Just letting the light go where it wants to go. For this image, I climbed out over large boulders that are normally swamped by the water flow to get really close. I didn't quite know what to expect, or even if I would survive the trek, but I had to try. Once I arrived, I noticed how the light and shadow seemed to dance around on my camera back, so I just let them play without even stopping to ask them to pose for me.
