Quiet Evening on Lake Moomaw

The quiet on this mountain lake in the Appalachian Mountains, at this particular moment in time, was interrupted only by the radiant light on the horizon. During the days of summer, motor boats run up and down the lake almost non-stop. But I found that around dusk, it returns to its natural state of utter stillness.
