Corn Harvest

A remnant ear of corn appears to be swaddled by it mother. Typically, ears of corn are forcibly separated from the stalks during harvest. This one didn't follow the rules and stayed with its mother, which was eventually piled up for show purposes at one of those Autumn roadside displays we see so often around here. I thought it told an interesting story.
